VoWlan Services
Voice over Wireless Local Area Network or VoWLAN as suggested by the name is a wireless broadband system for audio multimedia communication. It works in accordance with the IEEE 802.11 standards. It is similar to a VoIP but uses a Wi-Fi connection instead. The network components are usually owned by private companies.
Any internet accessible device (like laptops, PDA, VoWLAN units, etc. which can work like a cordless or cell phone) can hold a VoWLAN. Unlike 3G, VoWLAN uses a wireless internet network over a cellular one. Although the features of both these services are more or less the same, VoWLAN is sometimes considered a better option. Although the other can serve as a decent alternate as well.
Here at Two Eyes, our VoWlans come with a number of advantages. Some of these include cheap local and international calls, free calls among VoWLAN systems and a much simpler and cohesive phone and ISP billing process.
