Front desk is by far the most affected part of the entire hotel business by unified communication. Until a guest/client enters the hostel premises, the entire setup is by and large an automated one. It is the onus of the manager to make this flawless by being updated on the guest through an IP based phone system to keep track of the guest and ensure that everything they requested via email/call/message is set up properly.
